Do you have a friend, or worse, a coworker who just doesn’t know when to stop sharing information about her personal life? When people end up leaving everyone around them slightly uncomfortable, they've divulged TMI, or too much information. Things that fall under that category might be your mom’s sex life, your boss’s bathroom habits, your neighbor’s foot fetish, or even your own personal fantasies.

I work for a behavioral health insurance company. My department is social workers, clinicians, and a few consumers (people that utilize the services we offer). One of the consumers, a perfectly nice girl, has recently been making me very uncomfortable with her questions to me and others, and with her loud phone conversations.

Confession time: I'm kind of a sucker for Ryan Reynolds, and Just Friends is one of my guilty pleasure movies. So imagine my excitement about this morning's news that Reynolds is teaming up with Anna Faris once again for the upcoming comedy TMI. They'll play a couple who learns that "while honesty is the best policy for a relationship, 'too much information' might not be the best thing."

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be dominating the promotional circuit right now, but they're not the only cast members with something to say about New Moon. I had the opportunity to chat with costars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, aka Emmett and Alice Cullen, during their recent stopover in SF. They chatted about their characters, the vampire craze, and what it's like to be a "Twilight celebrity."

There are so many fashion books on offer these days that you run the risk of re-reading the same information or seeing the same picture time and time again. However, when I heard about Judith Watt's Dogs in Vogue (£26) I knew I was in for a truly unique experience! I'm sure the title makes you slight skeptical, and if I'm honest I felt the same too, but this is a really beautiful coffee table read.

A Page Six Blind Item that Gawker decoded is not something I need to know about Owen Wilson. You must click the link to read it but be prepared you will never look at him the same way again.

I have mixed feelings about location-based services like Google Latitude, which pinpoints and shares your location in real time, or Foursquare, the application allowing you to "check in" and share your location with friends. Granted, there are privacy settings, but the whole tracking-in-real-time thing creeps me out a bit.
Now it seems Latitude got a little bit creepier.

When I first noticed this new Gmail labeling feature (disclosure: yesterday), I wasn't sure if I was the only person who was left in the dark. One quick and informal office poll later, I realized I wasn't. Now I'm going label crazy!

I've been lucky to have boyfriends who didn't just love talking like I do, but who were good listeners, too. Maybe they were in the minority, or maybe they worked hard to overcome what many scientists say is a male brain hardwired to keep conversation short and informational.
Compared to women's brains, researchers conclude that men's brains not only have fewer verbal centers, but their brains produce less serotonin and oxytocin.
