I'm a firm believer that couples shouldn't spend every free second they have together. It's important for each person to have other friends, hobbies, and interests. Not only does it give you time apart (which is a must every once in a while), but it also helps to strengthen each person individually, which in turn makes you stronger as a couple.

Your jack-o'-lantern may be rotting on your back porch like mine (oops!), but that's no reason to shun pumpkins altogether. You can make seasonal candle holders that would be perfect for a Thanksgiving table from some inexpensive, mini pumpkins from your grocery store or local farmers market. I noticed this little trick within a DIY for making a mini pumpkin centerpiece on Martha Stewart, but I'm not so keen on the entire centerpiece idea.

There's a silver lining to TV shows going into reruns, and it's more time to watch movies! Every week on Tabatha's Salon Takeover, hairstylist extraordinaire Tabatha Coffey takes control of a flailing salon and whips it into shape. Although I'm an avid viewer, I'm not quite so sure how I would react to real-life Tabatha in my work space — taking total control of my company's policies and the people I work with.
Some of the highlights include a full-out interior design makeover of the salon studio, and a complete revamping of lackadaisical company policies.

I fell in love with the topsy-turvy tomato planters when I first found them a year or two ago, but I'm so excited to see the concept taken to a sleeker level.
Ranging in price from $25 to $75, the Boskke Sky Planters are made in New Zealand from black or white ceramic. They're modern, beautiful, and completely unexpected.

When you're talking fashion, there are a lot of rules about color. No white after Labor Day. Black and brown clash.

Hi Casa,
I am adding, for the first time ever, fine photography to my apartment. However I am at a loss when it comes to framing styles and arrangement.
One set of four photographs is horizontally-oriented and black-and-white.
