British Men Desperate For Moob Jobs

American women may want bigger boobs, but British men want smaller ones - on themselves, that is.

Turns out there was a 44 percent increase year over year in men who want to get rid of their larger-than-normal "man boobs," aka moobs. A moob job to reduce their size is now the fifth most popular cosmetic surgery procedure for men.

"We are seeing men of all ages coming in to have their breasts made smaller," said plastic surgeon Douglas McGeorge, including one grandfather who had never removed his shirt on the beach because he was embarrassed about the size of his chest.

Men really are the new women. The other procedures more popular than moob jobs for British men? Nose jobs, eye lifts, ear pinning, and liposuction.

Unfortunately when people gain weight, they can't choose where the extra pounds go. While a woman may be psyched to add some fullness to her chest, for a guy it creates an often embarrassing phenomenon - man boobs. Some, like my friend Giggle, affectionately refer to them as moobs, but they are no laughing matter. Some men want to get rid of this excess flesh as quickly as possibly. Instead of dieting and exercising to eliminate the excess fat on their pectoral muscles, they're opting for male breast reduction surgery. This proves that men are just as self-conscious about their bodies and their weight as women, and they'll do anything to avoid the public's scrutiny and jokes, even go under the knife. Boobs v. Moobs: Court Ruling Sparks Censorship Debate

England is bringing the "are moobs the same as boobs?" controversy to the courts! (You can't see me jumping for joy over here, but I am. Trust.) A man recently got away with secretly filming another man in his swimming trunks at a public pool because it was declared legal to ogle a man's chest but not a woman's breasts. Here's my favorite part of the news article, which you can read by clicking here: "This was the case even if the man in question was obese, and had 'man breasts' or 'moobs. . .' " Another judge has overturned the ruling because the judge in the first case, he claims, "failed properly to explain to the jury the difference between breasts and chest." Wow. May I be a juror? Please, please?!

Mo' Moobs, Mo' Problems. Just when I thought I had seen every possible vulgarity involving man boobs, this video finds its way onto the internet.
