When you meet someone really amazing, all you want to do is shout it from the rooftops. Usually, though, it's a better idea to give a more practical introduction, especially when it comes to your family. Parents can be very protective of their children — no matter how grown up they might be — thus, meeting the parents ends up being kind of a big deal, even if you’re not thinking of it as one.

When you're in a relationship, I happen to think that meeting the parents is a huge deal. Let's face it — I wouldn't introduce my mom and dad to just any Joe Schmo! I like to meet his parents early in the relationship, too, since an evening with his mom and dad could give some eye-opening insight into the kind of person he is.

Adorable. No word better sums up actress Alison Brie. And while I am sure the 26-year-old would prefer a more sophisticated adjective, she does play Trudy Campbell on Mad Men and ain't nothin' more sophisticated than that.

The family that eats together, stays together, right? While dinners often serve as a family meeting of sorts, some busy broods pencil in a separate meeting time in hopes of improving family communication, conflict resolution, and discussing other issues that may come up. The digital age of emailing, cell phones, and social networking has made it possible for many families to interact without coming face-to-face with one another.

The most central characters of FlashForward take a backseat this week, letting Bryce and Aaron take the spotlight. It's a nice relief from Mark and Demetri's constant agonizing over their own fates (though we still get a dose of that, too).
We learn that Bryce has been keeping a big secret, and Aaron's reunion with his daughter isn't all he had expected it to be.
