Anthropologie to Open First London Outpost Oct. 23

Anthropologie will open its first European outpost, and the first outside of North America, in the heart of London's West End on Oct. 23. Anthropologie has made a habit of seeking out architecturally distinct spaces for its stores, and this one will be no exception. The store will occupy a historically renowned, three-story building at 158 Regent Street, which was once home to Waterford Wedgwood, a prominent English china retailer since the 18th century.
The new store will sell Anthropologie's signature mix of fashion, accessories, home décor, decorative antiques, and found objects - many discovered around the world by antiques buyer Keith Johnson. As with all of the brand's stores, Regent Street will also incorporate reclaimed materials from nearby and feature work by local artists. Another shop will open early next year on London's King's Road. Londoners, get your wallets ready! And a night job while you're at it!

New Product Alert! Bespoke Dog Accessories Collection

Best known for his quality leather duffles and briefcases, Britain-based Bill Amberg expanded his business to include our furry friends, launching a new Bespoke dog accessories collection in London on Tuesday.

Including a chic bed, leather lead, and shearling-lined coat, there are no prices listed online yet, but I'm betting the hand-crafted, vegetable-dyed leather won't come too cheaply. Check out the shown off items in the gallery and let me know if anything catches your fancy in the comments below.

Fab Field Day: Vintage Fashion Fair

Trying to find the perfect additions to your wardrobe doesn't have to start and end on the High Street. If you are looking for something truly unique then you might want to broaden your search to vintage markets and fairs. I recently attended the Primrose Hill vintage fashion fair which takes place once a month at the Cecil Sharp House on Regents Park Road.

This is a great place to earn your fashion stripes as you can hunt for a one off frock, amazing accessories or classic designer pieces. There was an aray of costume jewellery on offer along side investment designs by the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Prada and Vivienne Westwood. There was also some gorgeous milinery and lace gloves which I completely fell for.

Prices were quite reasonable with bargain baskets at many stalls with funky pieces for under £10. There is a fair this weekend in Archway at the Byam Shaw School of Art between 11am and 5pm.

On Our Radar: Rick Owens Furniture Exhibition

Rick Owens has made his mark in London this week as he shows off his first venture in to furniture design. The edgy Paris based designer has been inspired by Le Corbusier for the pieces which are currently on show at the Sebastian + Barquet’s gallery. Owens told WWD, "I look at architecture for inspiration. If I’m wondering where to go with a collection, all I need to do is open a Le Corbusier book, and the consistency, the integrity of his work tells me what my next step should be." The pieces sell through galleries rather than stores and include chairs, sofas, tables and lamps. They're crafted from a range of materials from Antlers to marble and fisher fur, and purchasing one of Owens designs could cost you from £1,800 to £22,000. What do you think of his latest venture?

Love It or Hate It? Heather Mills's One-Hue Home

Heather Mills's three-bedroom London home is on the market for nearly $6.2 million, less than one year after she purchased the property for nearly $3.9 million. She's what we'd call a flipper. In most cases houses that have been flipped are designed with the buyer in mind, but I don't know how many people would find this shiny beige spread appealing. Tell me, is this one-hue home your champagne dream or champagne nightmare?

Topman's flagship store on Oxford Street is under going a makeover at the moment with the new store being unveiled on Thursday in time for London Fashion Week. The brother of Topshop has long been a key shopping spot for stylish men, but it will soon offer even more with a Rough Trade DJ booth, personal stylists, EAT cafe, Wi-Fi access and Sharps barber. This got me thinking, do you ever stray in to the mens department and find things for yourself?

10 Design Ideas to Steal From London's Haymarket Hotel

Although I don't have any sojourns to London in my foreseeable future, I can't get the Haymarket Hotel out of my mind. At around $400 for the smallest room, a stay there is probably out of the question, too. Never say never though, right? So for the time being I thought I'd see if I can't pick up any decorating tips from the boutique hotel to create my very own Haymarket at home.

Home Away From Home: London's Haymarket Hotel

I have died and gone to hospitality heaven.
