Harry and Chelsy Reunite at Rugby, Join Royals to Remember

Prince Harry had a busy weekend, attending Lawrence and Alice Dallaglio's 8Rocks Cancer Research charity event at Battersea Evolution on Friday, reuniting with Chelsy Davy for the England v. Australia rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday, and then joining royals and politicians for the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph yesterday. It looks like Harry and Chelsy are definitely back together following their split, but the laughs of the rugby gave way to sombre reflection when Harry joined Prince William, the Queen, other members of the royal family and politicians Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Nick Clegg, Tony Blair, John Major and Margaret Thatcher to remember those who served our country.

Wills Joins the Royals to Honour Forces in Iraq

Prince William and the Royal family joined politicians at St Paul's Cathedral today for a commemoration service to formally mark the end of combat operations in Iraq. They led the nation in honouring Forces members who served and died in Iraq, and the Archbishop of Canterbury spoke about the war. Wills stood with Prince Charles and Camilla, and the Queen was joined by Prince Philip, Prince Edward and Sophie. Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Tony Blair were amongst the politicians at the service, and Jodie Kidd also paid her respects.

While Victoria Flies David Backs England's World Cup Bid

Victoria Beckham flew from Heathrow to Los Angeles yesterday, while David was at Wembley Stadium alongside Gordon Brown, Wayne Rooney and Gary Lineker supporting England's bid to host the World Cup in 2018. The Beckhams have made quite the impression on Paris Hilton, who said: "I am going to ask Victoria and David to be godparents to my children... I'm going to name my kids David and Victoria because she is so hot and I want kids as beautiful as her." Victoria's also received a back handed compliment from Miley Cyrus, who says she wants to be a "soccer mom" just like Victoria. Heh. Meanwhile, David spoke about the World Cup bid:

"It would be up there with winning (trophies) and the success I've had in my career because to be part of a successful bid, like I was with the Olympics, would be a huge honor. I've played with some of the biggest and best (players) in the world and all they talk about is the passion and atmosphere that is shown at England games and games against teams from England. We, as a country, are always ready for big competitions. If someone was to say next week we'll stage a tournament in England, I don't think there are many other countries who would be ready to facilitate that."

David Beckham Backs Malaria Campaign at Number 10

David Beckham left the football pitches of Milan to travel home and meet with Gordon Brown alongside his fellow sports stars Andy Murray and Denise Lewis yesterday. They were at 10 Downing Street to mark the launch of the Malaria No More UK campaign, as the trio are members of the leadership council of the campaign group. Gordon Brown promised to send 20 million malaria nets to Africa, and the UK has already delivered 9.7 million. David said: "It's truly incredible to think we can stop this killer disease forever and it's such a simple thing to do. For less than a cost of a football you can protect a family from dying." He added: "I urge the UK public to get behind the Malaria No More UK campaign to save a life and make malaria no more". It's so great to see these stars getting behind such important work.

Jamie Cooks For the Obamas, Browns, JK and Naomi

The G20 leaders, including Gordon Brown and Barack Obama, gathered for a reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace yesterday before heading to 10 Downing Street for a meal prepared by Jamie Oliver. Michelle Obama, in another great outfit from her warbrobe, dined with Sarah Brown at No. 11 with the other partners and British stars including JK Rowling, Naomi Campbell and athletes Kelly Holmes and Tanni-Grey Thompson. Jamie, whose menu included salmon from Shetland, lamb from north Wales, and a Bakewell tart and custard, said: "I'm very, very proud of my country and its food traditions and I know that the guests at Downing Street will be in for a real treat." His wife Jools was due to give birth yesterday, but fortunately she didn't go into labour so Jamie didn't have to rush from the banquet to her side.

Gordon Brown Congratulates Kilimanjaro Climbers at No. 10

Having returned to the UK on Monday after scaling Mount Kilimanjaro, the nine celebrities who took on the trek were treated to tea at Number 10 Downing Street with Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah. Fearne Cotton, Denise Van Outen, Alesha Dixon, Cheryl Cole, Kimberely Walsh, Chris Moyles, Ronan Keating, Ben Shephard and Gary Barlow have raised more than £1.5 million thanks to their Red Nose Climb, and were rightly full of smiles as they celebrated with Gordon Brown, who didn't wear a red nose himself but did allow a huge one to hang from the front door! Saying: "We are proud of everything that nine great heroes have done", the Prime Minister also backed up his words with action and announced that the government plans to give £2 million to help fight malaria. Gary Barlow was full of excitement, saying:

"It has been a privilege for the whole team to meet the Prime Minister ... and under such special circumstances. To think that our efforts on the mountain and the incredible generosity of the public have inspired school children and have now been supported by the Government is unbelievable. If the money raised can help control malaria and also help poor and vulnerable people in the UK, it will all have been worthwhile. What an unforgettable day."

Prince Harry and Wills Join Royals to Honour Queen Mother

The royal family gathered in London yesterday as the Queen unveiled a new statue of the Queen Mother. The royal women, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, wore fancy hats and my girl FabUK wants to know whose headwear do you like best? The royals were also joined on the Mall by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah. Prince Charles made a touching speech, saying: "All of us gathered here today will, I know, miss my darling grandmother's vitality, her interest in the lives of others, her unbounded courage and determination that allowed her incredibly to continue her official life until the age of nearly 102".

Prince Harry swapped his weekend A-Team t shirt to match Prince William's smart attire. Wills has come under fire in a documentary for his lack of royal engagements, but a spokeswoman for William called the documentary "an unbalanced and one-sided examination". Wills has got some good news to look forward to, though, as reports suggest he and Kate Middleton are moving in together at the Shropshire RAF base where he is becoming a helicopter pilot.

Jade Goody Goes Home With Girls Aloud & Gordon's Support

Jade Goody returned home from hospital yesterday to prepare for her wedding on Sunday. She tried to walk to the ambulance outside Royal Marsden Hospital, but was too weak and needed to sit in a wheelchair with a morphine drip. Jade reportedly said: "Please take me home... I’ve had enough here. I want to see grass and rolling fields." Earlier in the day, Jade reportedly told a friend she wanted to get back to her Essex home saying: "I’ve got a lovely view from my bedroom. I can get more ill here - or more ill there." Jade's brave fight has touched so many people, including Girls Aloud, with Sarah Harding telling the Daily Star: “We have had contact from Jade’s people about performing at her wedding and it’s now in the hands of our management. We are desperately trying to re-arrange our schedule so we can do it. It’s a very sad thing to have to discuss." Prime Minister Gordon Brown has also commented:

"It's very sad and indeed tragic that someone so young has got this deadly disease of cancer and it's very sad indeed that the treatment that has been given has not been successful. I think everyone has their own ways of dealing with these problems and her determination to help her family is something that we've got to applaud. I wish her well and I wish her family well and I think the whole country will be worried and anxious about her health."

It's wonderful to see so much support for Jade as she bravely faces her illness.

Gordon Ramsay And Friends Raise Funds

Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana held a fundraising dinner at London's Hanover Square last night, and were joined by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and hubby Richard Jones plus his bandmates from The Feeling. The event raised funds for Women's Aid: Gordon, Tana and Sarah Brown are patrons of the charity, which campaigns to end domestic violence. Sarah, who attended the fundraiser with husband Gordon Brown, brought some colour to the sea of LBDs in her pink dress and Mariella Frostrup shimmered in silver. There was no sign of Gordon's new business partner, so it was left to Liz Hurley, who posed with Trinny Woodall, to cause a stir with her plunging neckline.
