I haven't watched Family Feud in a long time, but I was on the treadmill the other day and looked over at the television screen next to me and this weirdness came on. The Family Feud celebrity look-alike edition? I guess it's easier to get these Z-listers to come on than to get real families to participate!

When the clock is ticking and the cameras are rolling, the pressure to think quickly can make a contestant give the darndest answer, reveal a dirty little secret, or altogether blank out— on her husband's name. The following game show moments are so funny, "I think I'll have to take a P," Chuck. Har, har, har!

Our friends over at Best Week Ever have a knack for finding and immortalizing the most awkward moments on daytime television. Take this clip from a recent "Family Feud" episode. A contestant is asked "What do you hit when it's not working?"

We've already established that game show contestants say the darndest things and they also say the dumbest things-- so combine the two, and that's when the topic of one's "lucky bra" comes into play...

It's not so much the game or the competitive spirit involved, it's the candid answers that make televised game shows so worthwhile to watch--especially when those answers hit a little too close to DUMB. Word to the Wise: If you make a habit of stealing lamps from hotel rooms, do yourself a favor and don't mention it on national TV! (Oh, and I heart Paul Lynde!)

The clock is ticking, there are millions of viewers watching at home, and the pressure's on. So it completely baffles me how game show contestants feel comfortable enough to blurt out the first idiotic thing that comes to mind while on television-- as if they won't have to live this moment down for the rest of their lives! And no, a delicatessen is not a drug store.

Family Feud has provided a great deal of material for us lately. First, there was the NSFW "slip"-up and then there was the episode brought to us by the letter "A." Finally, we get to the actual family feuding.

Yet another proud display of American stupidity. Now I can think of a word to describe these people that begins with the letter "A"...

Her family may have won the game, but this woman won a day in the life of Janet Jackson. I guess there actually is a such thing as an unintended "wardrobe malfunction."

Let's just say I wasn't exactly thrilled when NBC announced it planned to take up part of its Summer programming block with Celebrity Family Feud. Combining a game show whose best years were a few decades behind it with yet another set of pseudo-celebs embarrassing themselves on national TV (see also: Celebrity Circus) sounded like a recipe for utter disaster.
But then NBC announced the list of participating "families" for the show this week, and — well, maybe it's the Summer heat going to my head, but I think this could be pretty funny in the "reality TV trainwreck you can't stop watching" sort of way.
