Matthew McConaughey's mom is trying to ride on her famous son's coattails with her new book I Amaze Myself! In it, she divulges some pretty personal information about her family, including the fact that Matthew was an accident and that her husband died while they were having sex. She even goes as far as saying "I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift" when talking about how he was taken out of their house in the buff!

As evidenced in my holiday TV sneak peek, this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy puts the doctors on a fast track that starts on Thanksgiving eve and runs through New Year's Eve. As we all know by now, the Seattle Grace surgeons aren't always big on merriment, but the holidays are always the perfect time to bring out the truth in feelings and relationships.

By the time my daughter was two she had attended three family funerals. In the years since, more people have passed including her great-grandfather and a preschool classmate. She notices when the phone rings with bad news or someone disappears so I've always told her the truth — that people eventually die.

Dear Sugar,
I have been divorced for about five years, and almost three years ago, my ex passed away. It was very sudden and my two kids were at home with him the morning it happened and I was lucky enough to make it over to his house just in time to say goodbye. I have been in a relationship with someone ever since my divorce, but lately I find myself missing my ex more and more everyday, some days I get almost to a depressed state because I miss him so much.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be dominating the promotional circuit right now, but they're not the only cast members with something to say about New Moon. I had the opportunity to chat with costars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, aka Emmett and Alice Cullen, during their recent stopover in SF. They chatted about their characters, the vampire craze, and what it's like to be a "Twilight celebrity."
