Everything tastes better with bacon, and dates are no exception! I recently went to an end-of-Summer barbecue and couldn't stop eating these crispy bacon-wrapped dates. Of course, I had to ask the hostess for the simple recipe to share with you.

Parents often use date nights as a way to connect to each other and keep the sparks flying, but let's turn the clocks back a few hours. While dinner and a movie can make for a fun night together, folks can take advantage of the daytime, too. Drop the kids off with grandma or hire a sitter and head for the hills, literally.

The (Super Bowl) party's over, and your stomach's really taken one for the team — it's still reeling from the buffalo wings and peanut butter brownies that you scarfed down.
If you've got leftover bacon, use it to accent the flavor on a leafy Winter salad. With its ruffled frisée leaves, peppery red onion, crunchy walnuts, and tart sherry vinegar, this refreshing salad might be the antidote you were looking for after a weekend of big league eating.

I just came across this handy dandy tool that could make life a whole lot easier for the men out there! It's designed to fit right inside his wallet for easy access!

My jaw drops every time a peer tells me that their parent called to remind them that they missed their birthday or anniversary. As a parent, I had my kids without anticipating any kind of payback ever.

This weekend I was expecting houseguests and wanted to offer them a homemade treat. I figured a nice breakfast muffincake would be a good option, as it would work for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack. However, I didn't know what kind I wanted to make, so I headed to my kitchen without a recipe and scoped out the ingredients.

I was in the airport recently and I stopped at one of those little stores to get some snacks for the trip. Among all the candy bars and gum, I saw thinkOrganic bars. When I looked at the ingredients, and saw dates and nuts, I had to give them a try.
