You'd expect nothing less than inspired décor from an artist, designer, and art director, and that's exactly what you see in Mike Meiré's early 20th-century Cologne apartment. On top of beautiful architectural bones, Meiré has used his German home as a canvas to showcase his contemporary art collection, including work by Rita Ackermann, Lutz Fezer, and Damien Hirst. Pop art brings in color throughout, and iconic designs by famous names (Jasper Morrison, Eero Saarinen, Piero Lissoni) give the place a sense of idolism.

It's not too often that we see female celebrities creating male colognes, but Kylie Minogue is about to play a little role reversal with the launch of her latest fragrance, Inverse for Men ($42). The cologne, inspired by the "complex, colorful" men in Kylie's life, launches in September in Australia, the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany.
The amber-oriental scent will feature top notes of frozen lavender, blood mandarin, and warm spices; middle notes of benzoin, heliotrope, nutmeg, and tonka beans; and base notes of labdanum resin, skin musk, patchouli leaves, condensed milk, and atlas cedarwood.

Finding the perfect mate is more about good looks and good times. How often have you met a potential suitor, only to become turned off by what cologne they were wearing? Or perhaps it was something about their personal scent was just a bit off to you.

It looks like I am not alone when it comes to having a strong connection to remembering scents on a man — thank you for sharing all your favorite smells! Now let me ask you this. If you grew to really like a specific scent, but your ex boyfriend wore it, do you think it's taboo to buy the same cologne or after shave for your new boyfriend?

New from Jo Malone is a divinely sweet and fruity Summer launch called Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne. Malone (who is a woman, by the way) drew inspiration for this unisex fragrance from her fondness for succulent and juicy Summer fruits. It just sounds mouth-watering, doesn't it?

Women who own and love Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Pour Femme can soon buy their boyfriend the male counterpart, Light Blue Pour Homme. This is the designing duo's first men's scent in 13 years. It has been said that the cologne is aimed at men who embody the seduction and sophistication of the Mediterranean lifestyle and will hit shelves between late May and early June.

Meeting another woman who wears your signature perfume scent is like showing up to a party and seeing someone else in the same dress. Though most of us want a scent that's distinctly ours, when anyone can walk into a store and buy the same bottle, it's tough to be unique. One solution: Use a men's cologne instead.

Most of you were on Team Cologne from Stylista. Though she got the boot, she's not sitting at home crying. Nay.

I recently set out to try one of the most popular Chanel Les Exclusifs Colognes called Eau de Cologne. I was interested in the scent because I heard that its crisp, fresh and clean aroma complements both men and women. Since the holidays are upon us, I'm always looking for great unisex gifts—most of my friends are coupled up now and bathroom real estate is precious.
