I asked you yesterday what would be worse: to go on a nightmare blind date or be stood up and so far, 53 percent of you felt that being stood up was far worse. I happen to agree — being rejected by someone who hasn't even given you a chance sure is a blow to your ego. But all the times I talk about the notion of standing someone up, I've asked you about being stood up, not standing someone up.

Amelle Berrabah has spoken for the first time about her three-week stay in an Austrian clinic after being diagnosed with nervous exhaustion last month. She joined her band mates Heidi Range and Jade Ewen on GMTV to perform on television for the first time as a new line-up and the trio sang their single "About A Girl". Amelle told Andrew Castle she is "absolutely better" and Heidi also explained why Keisha Buchanan left the group.

Wasn't this week's House incredibly satisfying? There was no sign of Thirteen — bring her back! — but House helped resurrect a man from the dead, heard voices in his head (crazy), and made goo-goo eyes at Cuddy.

I love this story! The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is currently exhibiting Robert Frank's photographs from his landmark 1959 work The Americans, widely viewed as the photographic analogue to Jack Kerouac's beat classic On the Road. Frank and Kerouac both had similar sensibilities, wanting to show the sprawling, diverse, and melancholy side of postwar America.

With Top Chef Masters officially over we can finally turn our attention to getting to know the 16 remaining chefs on Top Chef Vegas. The second episode aired last night and after watching, I've come to several conclusions. It was definitely worth the wait, and Rob, Kristen, Taylor, and Ashley were rewarded with plenty of screams and shrieks from their waiting fans. We got to check out two new clips from the movie — in the first, Kristen's character Bella rides a motorcycle for the first time (though she assured us she didn't do her own stunts).

Cameron Diaz scored another July magazine cover, this time on Marie Claire. Like in her Vogue spread, Cameron talked about both her new movie, My Sister's Keeper, and the activism that's made her one of the most eco-friendly celebs. She took someone from the magazine along as she produced a short, exclusive video — check it out here — about what we can all do to help the planet, while also discussing her work, life, and fame.

When's the last time you noticed if a waitress wasn't wearing makeup? Even as a beauty addict, I can't say I've ever noticed one way or another. I know I'd care about hair being away from her face (and my food!), but whether she was blushed, glossy, and polished, that's a different story.
