I think I can decisively say that FitSugar readers are motivated by gear! I wish I could give a gift card to each and every one of you, but unfortunately there can only be three winners in this Nike Gift Card Giveaway. So please help me congratulate the three lucky winners!

For some reason, I like winners to win. I like to see the jock dating the head of the cheerleading squad, but I have a lot of friends who are always rooting for the underdog — they want the self-proclaimed nerd to take the most popular girl in school to the prom. I'm not sure what it says about me that I want the champs to keep winning, but what I want to know is, who do you root for?

We don't blame them, so many of last night's winners waited for decades to get the recognition they deserve.

But on this site, ladies, we're also interested in their minds, how together they manage to be in the face of endless scrutiny and pressure, and what we gather about the quality of their emotional lives.

Ever since the flute-wielding Jethro Tull won an award for Best Hard Rock Act in 1988, The Grammys have seemed to decrease in relevance with each passing year. But this year, the music awards really pulled out all the stops: a Police reunion, Justin Timberlake performing with a previously unknown singer, and much-deserved awards for Mary J. Blige, Bob Dylan, and Gnarls Barkley.
