Happy Birthday, Barbie! It's been 50 years since Barbie was first introduced at the New York Toy Fair, and she's still as stylish as ever. Tonight she celebrates the big 5-0 with a star-studded birthday bash (orchestrated by celeb event planner Colin Cowie) at a real 3,500-square-foot Malibu Dream House decorated by Jonathan Adler, complete with a pink carpet entrance.

I remember drawing them on my notebook during the first Gulf War and not really knowing what they meant — and now the peace sign is turning the big 5-0. The famous symbol made its first official public appearance in 1958 to advocate nuclear disarmament, and has since been used to graphically support a range of efforts from economic justice to environmentalism. Nearly every altruistic group has used this iconic logo as a way to communicate the idea of universal brotherhood.

This shouldn't be a surprise and yet it is! Recently we have seen Adam and Rachel both going solo and that's evidently because they've been broken up for awhile. The couple that is having issues onscreen is apparently over in real life as well.

When the Volkswagen Fox launched a few years ago, the Hotel Fox in Copenhagen, Denmark, invited 21 international artists to outfit and design 61 rooms as they saw fit. The designs that emerged ranged in style from fairytale fantasy to cool modern art. Artists such as Miami's Friends With You and Australia's Rinzen worked to create rooms that would truly transport visitors from the everyday workaday world to a vacation fantasy realm.

After Heidi and Seal presented the new Volkswagen, Heidi headed off to a jewelry presentation in Berlin last night. She celebrated the one year anniversary of her Heidi Klum Collection, which she will officially unveil on QVC on October 1st. After taking care of her business matters, Heidi and Seal got all fancy for the Dreamball at the German Historical Museum.
