Did You Watch She's Got the Look Last Night?
Last night, the season two premiere of the reality show She's Got the Look premiered on TV Land. I confess I didn't pay much attention to season one of the over-35 modeling competition, but I'm willing to give it another try, particularly after seeing celebrity stylist Robert Verdi throw down in his clipboard in disbelief after a stunningly youthful-looking 72-year-old appears on the runway (see it around the 1:25 mark). The show is similar in concept to ANTM, and this time around they're adding a $100,000 prize in the mix.

I had dinner with my successful, globe-trotting artist friend last night, and all she wanted to talk about was makeup. She has beautiful, medium-toned skin (she's Turkish) and blue-green hair (yeah!). There are certain brands that just plain don't show up on her, and others that just don't pack the pigment punch someone who is used to acrylic paint and grease pencil desires.
