Even though the Brit Awards show finished at 10pm, that certainly wasn't the end of the night for all the celebrities in attendance. Universal's after party was fit to bursting with big stars, from Sophie Dahl, Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung, Duffy, Mark Owen and Lady GaGa to the host of the ceremony James Corden, who was happy to pose with on-again girlfriend Sheridan Smith. The Laurence Olivier Awards took place at Grosvenor House Hotel last night, and a whole host of dashing gents were suited and booted for theatre's big night out. James Corden brought Gavin and Stacey costar Sheridan Smith along as his date for the evening — what a lovely couple — while inside he sat at a table and messed about with his old History Boys costar Dominic Cooper. Sir Patrick Stewart won his third Olivier award last night, for his role in Hamlet, while Kevin Spacey presented an award and showed up with Andrea Corr on his arm and musical stars Jason Donovan and Gareth Gates chatted up a storm.
The Ladies Pop and Shine on the Emmys Red Carpet
The ladies were bursting with color and sparkle at last night's Emmy Awards. Christina Applegate looked positively radiant and was the talk of the night — smiley, happy and healthy. Mary Louise Parker was the most eye catching of all in her bright blue number though you all were fairly divided on the look while Brooke Shields lived up to the name of her show in Lipstick pink.
Lindsay, Samantha, and Emmy Stars Celebrate the Night Away
After the highs and lows of the Emmys show the party really got started. For many, the first stop was the Governor's Ball like Heidi in yet another gown before the other bashes. Some were off to the ET/People bash while others went to hear Samantha Ronson spin at Kress nightclub for the TV Guide soiree.

Elegance At The 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards
Last night Los Angeles played host to the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, where all our favourite TV stars lined up on the red carpet in gorgeous gowns and smart suits. Mad Men star Christina Hendricks looked stunning in her dark green dress, and Weeds actress Mary-Louise Parker brightened up the red carpet in her bright blue number. There were a smattering of Brits among those on the red carpet including Ugly Betty star Ashley Jensen and her Extras costar Ricky Gervais.
