As a parting present to a friend, Sugar staffer (and OnSugar manager!) sabs creatively crafted a floral arrangement — made entirely out of fresh, edible vegetables! The result was a stunning centerpiece that, like a flower cake, would be a thoughtful (and edible!) gift for someone who avoids sugar.
I loved the idea so much that I had to ask sabs how she did it.

Over the weekend, when I made Martha Stewart's Summer fruit cream pie, something went horribly wrong. As you can tell by the picture, the custard would not set! The recipe seemed simple enough; it's a graham cracker crust filled with cinnamon-berry custard and topped with syrupy peaches.

Alicia Silverstone has long been an environmental activist, working to support PETA, and a vegan lifestyle. (Her new book, The Kind Diet, which focuses on veganism, hits stores in a couple of months.) Now, the actress is slated to launch an eco-friendly line of makeup brushes and bags for EcoTools this December. The collection features designs of lavender, thyme, rose, and chrysanthemum — all favorites of Alicia's.

There are at least six compelling reasons to add intervals to your workout, but don't go skimpy on the recovery portion. It's very important to the whole process. Coach Jenny, over at Runner's World, likens the recovery period of intervals to sleep.

In 2007, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved lisdexamfetamine (Vysvanse), a new stimulant drug for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The active ingredient in lisdexamfetamine is similar to dextroamphetamine, the drug used in Dexedrine and Adderall.
Drug Warning
In 2007, the FDA instructed the manufacturers of all ADHD drugs to include drug warning labels describing the risks for heart and psychiatric side effects.
