There's a simple formula to this brand of humor. A song by the dirty singer Peaches + some beloved wholesome show = WTF?! First it was Peaches + Mayberry and now?
It's been lingering in the back of my mind for a long time now. Could we just replace each of the Seinfeld characters with muppets? I know.
This only affirms my suspicion that Beaker was the unsung badass on The Muppet Show. Those looks, that voice, and a jokester to boot! Beaker is everything I want in a man — puppet and all — w00t!
You may know "Feelings" to be a slow, sappy, painful song, but it's something else on The Muppet Show. Our bug-eyed buddy, Beaker, tweaked the lyrics and added some of his personal flair to the song. In doing so, he made it ten times more tolerable and gave the ballad a bit more substance.
