Around Halloween, people come up with all manner of crazy face paint ideas, but this guy takes the cake. I always loved the California Raisins claymation TV specials, but now I think that love affair is over. How and why this man decided to make this video, I can't say.

Lyme Disease Rates Double in Past 15 Years

Improved diagnosis and reporting probably contribute to this increase. In the United States, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania have reported the highest number of Lyme disease cases in recent years.

As promised, here's the rest of the Food Network Awards red carpet coverage. These chefs really look glamorous when they're out of their day-to-day clothes (I must say I loved Alton suited-up and Nigella looks stunning here). And I know that by saying stuff like this I am just propagating the whole celebrity & beauty over actual amazing food (notice that these food awards somehow didn't include any prominent restaurant chefs and even the likes of Batali and Bourdain are absent from this red carpet moment).

Another day, another diet. Or so it seems, but I actually like the idea of this new so-called diet.
The 100-Mile Diet is a meal plan that encourages you to eat only foods grown, raised or crafted within a 100-mile radius of your home.
