I have so many questions. Where are these people? It'd be weird enough if there were a club outfitted with poles for every dancer on the dance floor, but this appears to be a reception of some kind.

Who manufactures and installs these lame stripper poles? There's now a whole new genre of video that shows hard-workin' pole dancers practicing their craft at home, only to have the poles collapse by the end of their routines. Since this is happening so much, just to spice things up, they could incorporate a comedy routine into their shows at the strip joints where they work.

This Orangina commercial is really making waves on the Internet and not because of its juicy product appeal. It's got everything from bipedal, dancing deer to flamingo draped stripper poles to peacock showgirls and octopus lap dances — seriously. Can we not corrupt the wild with our own effed up representations of gender?

You know the stripper pole trend has gotten way out of hand when you spot the household cat getting freaky with a stalk outside. But unlike all the wannabes we've seen fall headfirst into the carpet, this cat's a real natural. Meow!

Another pole dancing wannabe bites the dust carpet. Since when is the "hostess with the mostest" responsible for whipping up a few good pole tricks for the dinner party? Call me old-fashioned, but I'll take good conversation--or a decent dessert-- over a good eyefull of stripper any day.

When did stripping not only go mainstream, but even become something it seems so many chicks actually aspire to? So much so that, like the doofus in this video, they're BUYING POLES and PRACTICING in their bedrooms. (How about calligraphy or stamp collecting?) Anyway, this is what happens without proper installation...

I've been a little bit hesitant to write about the Wii Fit Stripper Pole game because I'm a little conflicted. But since it appears that it's going to happen, here we go! A Stripper Pole game disturbs me a little, but since it's part of Wii Fit, I think of it as the same level as those stripping exercise classes that popped up a few years ago and seemed cheeky and fun.
