Mr. Skretta is a high school principal who can't get his students to pick up their rubbish at lunchtime. So he does what any dedicated principal would do: He makes a music vid on location in the school cafeteria.

I try to resist posting anything Soulja Boy up in here, cuz we're more than a little cranked up about the song at this point — downright cranky is more like it. But I refuse to pass up any opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and post the Saved by the Bell gang. It seems Zack, Kelly, Screech, and the crew have been Soulja ready since the '80s.

I'm beginning to think this Soulja Boy phenomenon will never fizzle. In an unexpected twist of "wha?," the song caught the attention of the ballet world. It's no secret that ballerinas are generally uptight by practice and snobbish by design, so the fact that this brood would even give the rap a revelé is surprising — but who's complaining?

Hot on the heels of our PopSugar UK launch, Black Entertainment Television has also hopped over the pond via their new channel on Sky. BET UK shows a mix of the current American output along with some UK-based shows. The launch party took place on Saturday at Cafe De Paris, and a number of stars showed up to celebrate, including Alicia Keys who sang to guests including Jamelia, Alesha Dixon and Lemar.

A group of grannies got their bounce on during a recent Milwaukee Bucks basketball game. The halftime show had a boogie-woogie start with some good, old-fashioned swing dancing. It was charming, predictable, and a by golly good time!

Over the past few months, we've seen ballerinas, toy soldiers, and even reporters crank that Soulja Boy. I never understood this song's widespread appeal, but now I know. It all dates back to preschool .

It's just business, as usual, for Jill Nicolini of the CW11 Morning News. The camera cuts to her for a weather report, but she immediately launches into a personal shout-out, followed by a little weather talk, along with a whole lotta Soulja Boy bebop and tap dancing. So much for getting into work on time .

Although that "Soulja Boy" song and dance has taken every club in the country by storm, there are some of us who just aren't having it. We prefer the more dignified dances of the past. But while everyone's bouncing around like a bunch of baffoons, let's at least have fun with the lyrics, why don't we?
