Preview For My Life in Ruins Is Long, Kinda Boring
First off, this strange little trailer thing with subtitles is freakishly long (over four minutes!) and feels longer. This does not bode well for the comedy from My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Nia Vardalos.
When last we heard about My Life in Ruins, it was because Vardalos became the first filmmaker to be allowed to shoot inside the Acropolis.

Stars Come Out to See Country Girl in the Big City
Some of our favorite actresses from the big screen got dressed up for the theater in NY last night at the opening of The Country Girl on Broadway. The show stars Morgan Freeman, Frances McDormand and Peter Gallagher, who were all out afterwards to celebrate their big night with the likes of Julia Roberts and Amy Adams. Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst both looked perfectly content to be flying solo without their new — one rumored, one real — men.

It was quite the little SNL reunion at last night's Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Baby Mama. The movie's leading ladies, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were joined with late night alums like Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Dratch, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, not to mention the producer Mr. Lorne Michaels himself.
