Remember last week's Blogs I Love post on SouleMama? Well, it turns out that Amanda Soule, the lady responsible for that lovely blog, has an online shop opening today, just in time for online holiday shopping.
The shop features quilts, linen totes, and greeting card sets from Amanda's photographs.

The Cabana Qulit ($128-$168, on sale $74-$108) from Garnet Hill is hand-quilted and printed with bright botanicals in Pink Rose, Blue Branch, Yellow Floral, or Green Dot Paisley patterns. The matching shams are also on sale. They would work with both traditional and modern décors, and could be a cool punch of color with simple white sheets, or a creative kick along with mismatching patterned linens.

There's just something hilarious about these heavy-metal-meets-hobbyist quilts from Quiltsryche (via Mighty Goods). I particularly like the headbanger-inspired Bangover Evil Rock Quilt ($700 to $2000) as a gift for an aging punk rocker, and the company also does custom designs. What do you think?

Dear Chanel,
I walk into your store every time I'm in the neighborhood and every time I leave empty handed. Why, oh why, must you be so pricey? You know what?

It's tough to think of a more luxurious fabric than cashmere, and that alone is enough to make me crave these Sun Moon Lake Cashmere Quilts ($300 to $350). But here's what I really love: The rough-hewn blankets, designed by Moonching Wu, are handcrafted from recycled cashmere, so you can bask in their exquisite softness while also feeling warm, fuzzy, and eco-friendly. I like how the contrast stitching makes them look both rustic and sophisticated.

I've been making quilts since I was in high school, and have often had to deal with hipster friends' turned-nose reaction to the hobby. "Oh...quilting?" they ask, bored and disapproving.

Hi Casa,
I was hoping you could help me with my dilemma. I fell in love with this quilt from Urban Outfitters. I'm a college student, and in a month I'm moving into a house that I'm renting myself, so money is really tight and I was hoping to find something inexpensive.
