Prince Harry had a busy weekend, attending Lawrence and Alice Dallaglio's 8Rocks Cancer Research charity event at Battersea Evolution on Friday, reuniting with Chelsy Davy for the England v. Australia rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday, and then joining royals and politicians for the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph yesterday. It looks like Harry and Chelsy are definitely back together following their split, but the laughs of the rugby gave way to sombre reflection when Harry joined Prince William, the Queen, other members of the royal family and politicians Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Nick Clegg, Tony Blair, John Major and Margaret Thatcher to remember those who served our country.

Prince William and the Royal family joined politicians at St Paul's Cathedral today for a commemoration service to formally mark the end of combat operations in Iraq. They led the nation in honouring Forces members who served and died in Iraq, and the Archbishop of Canterbury spoke about the war. Wills stood with Prince Charles and Camilla, and the Queen was joined by Prince Philip, Prince Edward and Sophie.

Ascot racing is taking place this week and Katherine Jenkins has already impressed you with her choice of headwear. Yesterday was ladies day which means plenty of stylish women arriving in eye catching hats. Amongst them were Erin O'Connor, Penny Lancaster, The Queen and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The Queen continued her very busy week yesterday with a day out at Royal Ascot. She was joined by fellow Royals Princess Beatrice, Camilla Parker Bowles and Sophie Rhys-Jones along with Amanda Holden and Katherine Jenkins all of whom were showing off some impressive headwear. From Amanda's burlesque style red hat to the Queen's more traditional style, there was plenty to chose from.

Prince William donned a rather splendid hat with huge plume as he took part in the Garter Ceremony Procession in Windsor yesterday. It's a busy week for the Royal family, what with the Trooping of the Colour on Saturday and Royal Ascot starting today, but the Queen showed no signs of tiredness as she smiled in her long cloak. Britain's Most Eligible Bachelor Prince Harry wasn't present, as the Order of the Garter (Britain's oldest Order of Chivalry founded in 1348) has a tiny membership, and Wills was only made a knight of the order last year.

It was the Queen's official birthday this weekend and she celebrated by watching Trooping the Colour with her family. She also marked the occasion by announcing her birthday honours list in which she has, once again, chosen to award the fashion industry. Amongst those listed in her birthday honours are Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey and online shopping guru Natalie Massenet who will both be given MBEs.

Prince William and Prince Harry joined the rest of the Royal family for Trooping the Colour to celebrate the Queen's official birthday on Saturday. After watching the parade, which reenacts traditional preparations for battle when the colours (flags) were ''trooped'' down the ranks, the brothers moved from Horse Guards Parade to watch the traditional fly-past from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, alongside Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his family, Prince Philip, Camilla and Prince Charles. 20,000 people gathered in the streets around the Mall and Horse Guards Parade to join in the celebrations, while thousands more (like me) watched on TV!
