Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz was honoured in Paris on Friday by the city's Mayor, Bertrand Delanoë. Bertrand presented Alber with the Grande Médaille de Vermeil de la Ville de Paris which is an honour given to cultural figures who have an impact on the city.

Jimmy Choo for H&M lands in stores this weekend giving you the chance to get your mits on a pair of designer heels for under £100. However, don't blow your budget all at once as the Sonia Rykiel collaboration is just around the corner. The lingerie part of the capsule line launches on 5th December, but not before H&M throw an enormous party for the French fashion brand.

My recent trip to Paris left me inundated with chic fashion observations. Whether I was window shopping on Rue Saint-Honoré or strolling down Rue St. Germain, I would always spot a cool trend, another form of inspiration for my closet.

In a Q&A in the October issue of Metropolitan Home, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that her favorite hotel is The George V in Paris. And I can't really fault her for the choice. The hotel, an eight-story landmark 1928 building, offers 245 guest rooms, nearly one-quarter of which are suites.

Oh, what I would give to be in hova24's strappy sandals right now. She has the Eiffel Tower behind her and a Parisian chic outfit to match the romantic scene. I love her one-of-a-kind dress and how she roughened it up with black accessories.

You may not know your Left Bank from your Right Bank, or have ever stepped foot on French soil, but you've probably heard of Colette, the fashion and design temple of Paris. The preeminent concept boutique hails art-loving hipsters from near and far, and regularly organizes exhibitions with both up-and-coming and established artists — including my beloved interiors photographer Todd Selby. Colette's latest exposition is MeWeCycle, a project curated by Karta Healy featuring a collection of designers’ work, based on their love of the bicycle and creative recycling.
