Typhus is caused by one of two types of bacteria: Rickettsia typhi and Rickettsia prowazekii.
The type of typus depends on which bacteria causes the infection.

It is possible to be too geeky, or live on the borderline between geek chic, moderately geeky and "OMG, why would they do that?" geeky. I suspect Kasey McMahon, who created this Text-O-Possum, a Bluetooth enabled, laser projected keyboard built in to the back leg of an opossum, is part of that last group.
