We're coming close to the end of my Q+A with Scarlett, Eric and Natalie – we've discussed the making of The Other Boleyn Girl, and their impressions of the UK – but in this penultimate installment the girls talk about the treatment of women both in the time the film is set and in the 21st century, and they also confirm the candidates they're backing for the US Presidential election. It's fascinating to hear the passionate responses from both Scarlett and Natalie, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed listening to them speak.
As modern women, how did you comprehend that the Boleyn girls were pretty much sold off by their father and their uncle?

Son, grandson, husband, father, and president Barack Obama told an audience today that the creation of the White House Council of Women and Girls goes out to all the women in his life.
Obama said: I sign this order not just as a president, but as a son, a grandson, a husband, and a father, because growing up, I saw my mother put herself through school and follow her passion for helping others. But I also saw how she struggled to raise me and my sister on her own, worrying about how she'd pay the bills and educate herself and provide for us.

Last night the NME Awards nominees were announced, where Oasis earned a massive seven nominations, including Best British Band, Best Live Band and Best Album. The categories range from the musical, encompass TV — where PopSugarUK favourites Gavin & Stacey and Skins are up for awards — film, web, venues, style, and then move on to the more fun Hero / Villian Of The Year categories.
Those American teen sensations the Jonas Brothers have also been recognised, with nods in the Worst Band and Worst Album categories in the reader-voted shortlists, but they shouldn't worry too much as they're also alongside Best Band nominee Oasis.
