Ousted IL governor Rod Blagojevich is the latest person to ride President Obama's coattails into a literary career. Blagojevich has signed a six-figure deal to pen a book all about replacing Barack Obama in the Senate, a topic also at the center of a federal criminal investigation.
I was hoping the ex-governor would write about his haircare regime, or perhaps put out a book of poems since he loved quoting Rudyard Kipling and Alfred Lord Tennyson during press conferences.

David Plouffe may still be sending Obama supporters emails free of charge, but soon everyone will have the chance to purchase the ideas behind Obama's presidential campaign. Plouffe, Obama's campaign manager, has received an estimated $1.5 million to $2 million for his upcoming book: The Audacity to Win: The Inside Story and Lessons of Barack Obama's Historic Victory.
A recent Esquire profile gives us a taste of what we could expect from Plouffe's prose.
