Hair on a guy's chest — now that can be sexy, but when it comes to women, hair on your breasts is not something you want to find. Or worse, it's not something you want someone else to point out. I'm sure you think that hair on a woman's nipples just shouldn't be happening, but it's more common than you might think.

I remember the first time I found a few hairs on my nipples. That's right, I admit it. I had already been dealing with a few errant hairs that had been popping up on on my chin, upper lip, and sometimes even "sideburns," so when I found a few hairs on my boobs, I wasn't all that surprised — although I can't say that I was all too pleased, either.

One of my last random NCMO partners was telling me that almost every girl shaves the darker hairs around their breast nipples even though they will never talk about it. I'm curious if he's right because that seemed like a pretty big generalization to me. And honestly, I'm a little scared to go at my breast with a razor!

If I were carrying a baby Bella inside me, I'd like to think that I'd have some pressing issues on my mind: Lamaze classes, proper nutrition, getting the nursery ready, that sort of thing. Pubic grooming doesn't make the list. (It's not like I'd be able to see anything below my bump, anyway.) But if you want to test your pain threshold before the birth, you could always go in for a bikini wax.

Starlets were out in force last night to celebrate Nylon's special TV issue. 90210's AnnaLynne McCord and Shenae Grimes posed on the carpet, as did Melrose Place's Jenna Dewan. Anna Paquin is the magazine's cover girl, and she was the center of attention as she chatted with her fiance and True Blood costar Stephen Moyer.

Drug Approvals
- In September 2007, Evista (raloxifene) was approved for prevention of breast cancer in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, and postmenopausal women at high risk for invasive breast cancer. Raloxifene and tamoxifen are the only two drugs approved for breast cancer prevention in high-risk women.
- In March 2007, lapatinib (Tykerb) was approved in combination with capecitabine (Xeloda) for treatment of advanced HER2-positive breast cancer.
- In November 2006, trastuzumab (Herceptin) was approved for treatment of early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. Trastuzumab is also approved for advanced HER2-positive breast cancer.
Screening
- The American College of Physicians’ 2007 guidelines recommend that women with a low risk for breast cancer talk to their doctor before starting to have mammogram screening at age 40.
