With the start of 2009 comes the chance to make another batch of New Year's resolutions (here's hoping you haven't already broken yours!). Every year, I find that a few of my resolutions are entertainment related, and this year is no exception. In 2009, I resolve to see all the Oscar-nominated movies before the Oscars, keep a list of all the books I read, and delete programs from my DVR if I haven't watched them within a month.

Short on confetti for your New Year's Eve party? Don't toss that holiday wrapping paper! Cut each sheet into a few small squares and send them through a paper shredder, and then send the shredded pieces through once more if necessary.

The day after Halloween I asked you how many pieces of candy you had eaten. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, I asked you how many pieces of pie you ate throughout that feasting day. So, in keeping with the tradition, there is a question I must ask: I want to know about your champagne consumption on New Year's Eve.

If you love to make New Year's Resolutions at the beginning of each year, why not make them seem more real and permanent by writing them down? You can write down your ambitions and dreams and make a to do list for the year. As you accomplish each goal, you can reflect about your experiences in your journal.

Since I've finally followed through with my standing New Year's resolution, I have to come up with a new one this year! I always try to pick something that I know I can actually accomplish, but I have yet to make my decision for 2007. I need some ideas, so ladies, what about you?
