A good morning really does pave the way for an even better day, but somewhere between the sound of the alarm clock blaring and arriving at your daily destination, more than a few things can go wrong. Before you know it you’re lying in bed again, dreading the next day! So to avoid this cycle, I have some pointers for how to set yourself up for a great morning.

Whether you are raising your kids on your own or have a partner to rely on, getting everyone up, dressed and ready to greet the day is hard work.

Whether you're a fan of daylight saving or not most of us have to live with that fact that it gets darker much earlier. That means if you used to sweat it out after work, you may have to rearrange your schedule and make time for it before your nine-to-fiver. Not too motivated to set your alarm early?

Rihanna has spoken for the first time about her incident with Chris Brown in February. Speaking to Diane Sawyer in an interview which will air in the States on Good Morning America on Thursday and on 20/20 on Friday, Rihanna says: "This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone" and adds that Chris "was definitely my first big love".

Patrick Dempsey attended Reese Witherspoon's Avon benefit last night, and he was by the actress's side again today to appear on Good Morning America before heading out to do some shopping. Reese was on the show to chat about her new fragrance, while Patrick opened up about his own work with the cosmetics company as well as this season of Grey's Anatomy. He showed off a preview of tomorrow night's episode before going on to reveal that he's developing a new pilot with his wife based on her experiences in cosmetology school.
