I used to look forward to the daily puppet shows on "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." They were off the hook. Now that I'm older, I can't help but wonder about the ritualistic behavior the man demonstrated at the beginning and end of every show.

Of course, the actual Mister (Fred) Rogers passed away in 2003, and it has been a comfort to know that we could at least hear his soothing, friendly voice and watch him change his shoes and cardigans every weekday on PBS. But it looks like episodes of the show will dwindle from TV, living on mostly in our memories (and, of course, on YouTube). PBS has plans to change the airing of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood from daily episodes to "a single episode per weekend to member stations."

When I think about memorable sweaters from my childhood — and I know, you're thinking, "why is Buzz talking about sweaters?" but bear with me — two folks immediately come to mind: Bill Cosby, who as Cliff Huxtable inflicted no shortage of brightly patterned '80s knitwear on unsuspecting children in his viewing audience, and Mr. Rogers, whose cozy cardigans are forever burned into my memory. So, imagine my surprise when newsy items about both sets of sweaters popped up recently.

The Cruise-Holmes troupe were back in the stands to cheer on Isabella this weekend -- and in their festive St. Patty's Day gear at that. Suri was excited enough about the holiday to get all gussied up in an adorable green dress (since she chooses her own clothes and all), while Katie just took the opportunity to debut her new similarly-adorable green bag.
