While watching television the other day, I saw a commercial for Kool-Aid that got me thinking. Kraft Foods, the food giant that makes the fruity punch powder of my youth, has embarked on a campaign to encourage different uses for the mix. Creative ideas include using Kool-Aid as a flavoring agent for plain yogurt or cupcake frosting, a color boost for cake, and even to turn tamales into dessert.

If your kid's looking for a sweet pair of sneakers to sport on Super Bowl Sunday, check out Reebok's new Kool-Aid kicks.
The shoemaker and Kraft-owned beverage company paired for a line inspired by New England Patriots player, Laurence Maroney who has gone by the nickname "Kool-Aid" since he was a wee one.
The first three flavors of the scented kicks — grape, strawberry, and cherry — hit stores today.

A few weeks ago, I picked up some Nivea cellulite-reduction pads on mega-clearance. (I know they won't work, but I'm testing them to prove that point.) The package came with a sample-size bottle of the brand's new Touch of Happiness body wash ($5.49), and, well, who doesn't like being touched by happiness? Not me!

Rachel McAdams is a great example of how your hair colour can completely change your look. She is most familiar to me for her role as Regina George in 'Mean Girls' but I almost don't recognise her when she has dark hair. She has starred in many films since Mean Girls (of course) and is now out to promote The Lucky Ones.
