Michael Jackson was remembered in a huge memorial service at the LA Staples Center yesterday, featuring performances and words from friends, family and fans of the late King of Pop. Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, John Mayer and Usher were among those performing songs, while Brooke Shields, Motown founder Barry Gordy, the Rev. Al Sharpton and basketball stars Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant were among those that spoke of the man behind the legend.

The NBA playoffs drew another star-studded crowd in LA last night. Leonardo DiCaprio had a guys' night out with his close friend Tobey Maguire, as Will Ferrell brought the laughs. Diddy clapped politely before personally congratulating Kobe Bryant on the Lakers' big win.

It was another celebrity-filled Lakers game last night at the Staples Center as the undefeated team beat the LA Clippers. David Beckham continued be a loyal fan, so maybe Posh isn't the only one who is loving their LA life. Becks and Marc Anthony chatted with Kobe Bryant, and the stadium upped its comedic factor with Jonah Hill, Jack Black, and Will Ferrell keeping the laughs going all game long.

Remember back in May, when David Archuleta and David Cook of American Idol rocked out in their tighty-whities to Old Time Rock N' Roll for Guitar Hero? Well Activision Publishing is back in full force with their latest installment of their "Risky Business"-inspired Guitar Hero ads; a new commercial for Guitar Hero World Tour, which hits stores today. Directed by Brett Ratner, the commercial features big sports stars jamming — like Kobe Bryant (on the mic), Tony Hawk (on the drums) and Michael Phelps and Alex Rodriguez (on the guitar).

The US Olympic men's basketball team won the quarterfinal against Australia last night, advancing them to the semifinals against Argentina on Friday. I grew up in a basketball-watching home, so I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. With so many amazing players out there these days, it's hard to choose one favorite big name over another, but I've been a fan of Kobe's for years.

Kobe Bryant looked adorable playing doting dad at Disneyland with his daughter Natalia on Thursday. Between our longtime love for David Beckham to newer frequent favorites like Tom Brady and Tony Romo to this week's addition of Roger Federer and hottie Cristiano Ronaldo it's beginning to look a lot more athletic around here. We love watching the boys in uniform sweat it out on the small screen, but we want to know — do you want to see more athletes here on PopSugar?
