What pretty Persian faces! Meet Empress Tang (at right) and Princess Peony (at left), the two kittens recently joining Martha Stewart's furry menagerie.
After losing Paw Paw, Ghenghis Khan and, most recently, a Himalayan named Mozart, I'm betting these two will keep her other pets rather occupied — smooshies Francesca and Sharkey already smell trouble!
I imagine it's hard work being the country's most trusted newscaster, and if you tuned into The Daily Show last night, you can see what I mean. If you missed it, Jon Stewart put up the choice to cover healthcare reform . .
The Samsung Ultratouch Mobile phone claims not only that its product offers something for everyone (including kittens, puppies, bunnies and hamsters), but that its alternate uses are quite varied too (allowing puppies to take self-portraits, hammies to screen movies, and kittens to lounge by the fire). I'd call bullsh*t, but I'm too busy melting into a puddle from the cuteness.
As soon as you hear more awful news about Australia's tragic fires, there's a story that comes along that warms your cynical heart. Luka the German Shepherd has taken in six kittens who were orphaned in the fire. I love that the voiceover says that she's a soft place for them to try out new tricks.
I wonder if they serve kitten-sized nachos, Cokes, and cotton candy there.
Most cats act utterly indifferent to the comings and goings of mere humans — even when those humans are feeding them catnip, Pounce, and other such goodies. This kitten, however, didn't get the memo on how you're supposed to play it cool. Watch as she literally throws herself at their feet the door.
This is the cutest little furry method actor ever. I love how his "meow" sounds like he's asking his acting coach, "Now?" I think he'll hear from Scorcese soon enough .
So this is a headline of the day and a WTF?! all rolled up in one confusing post just for you. A study was conducted whose conclusion was that clean people are less judgmental than dirty/unwashed people.
This kitten's got some mad attack skills. Is the dog any match for ninja cat's killer moves? Watch and see .
Lion-Hearted Leo Has Courage Licked
Or you can read my alternate headline: "OMG: Leo the Dog Saves Baby Kittens From Fire!!!" (This is why I'm not in the headline-writing business.) Picture this: A house is ablaze, and seven members of the family (save one brave dog and four helpless kittens) are outside screaming for firefighters to save the little critters. What should they find but valiant Leo the Jack Russell mix watching over the kittens in spite of the smoke and heat that surrounded him.
