Yikes! Nestlé Prepared Foods, the manufacturer of Hot Pockets, is recalling more than 215,000 pounds of Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza after several pieces of red, hard plastic and clear rubber material were discovered inside some of the pockets. The recall is for 54-ounce, 12-pack cartons of Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza with the following codes printed on the sides of each carton: 8157544614D, EST 7721A, and BEST BEFORE JAN2010.

I don't know what it is about Hot and Lean Pockets, but people love them. Maybe it's how easy they are to prepare, but the truth is that ease is not always healthy (I'm thinking fast food, candy bars, etc). Sorry to burst your lunch (or snack if you're really hungry) bubble, but here are the breakdowns for your favorite frozen stuffed sandwiches.

Pearl Izumi ruffled some feathers with its ad campaign pitting runner against joggers, but regardless they make amazing biking gear. Recently, the company released clothing made with four technical fabrics designed to reduce drag, regulate body temperature, and address the problems of moisture. They sent me a few items to check out, which meant a couple of bike rides and a spin class over the course of a few days — any excuse to hop on my bike.

Both PartySugar and I are fiends for cured meats as well as suckers for anything mini — so you can imagine our reactions when we opened up a parcel that was filled with pocket-sized packs of Hormel Pepperoni Minis! I stepped out to run an errand, but Party confessed she couldn't wait for me to get back to break into them. Were they as delicious as they were tempting?

I often think that transitional months are the hardest to dress for. You know, when it's too cold to leave the house without a jacket, but too hot to actually put it on? Well, the answer this year might lie with a knitted waistcoat as I've seen an increasing number popping up on the High Street.

Aye karumba! How many times have you had to bin your makeup (usually your lipstick) after a day at the the park, the beach or leaving it in your car on a hot Summer day? The waxy colour melts and there's nothing left but a big ole mess when you open up the cap.
