Young parents with a second on the way Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have decided to settle their growing family down in a 5,380-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 5.5-bath home in Laurel Canyon, CA, purchasing the property for under $2 million. The "Aspen Lodge meets Tropical Paradise" pad is an anomaly of sorts, compared to the modern celebrity homes of their young Hollywood peers. The property was purchased from NFL and XFL linebacker Mike Croel, whose décor choices were uninspired to say the least.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have finally ended their year-long house hunt, settling in a California ranch house in Pacific Palisades, which they purchased from Hollywood producer Brian Grazer for $17.55 million. But, believe it or not, the home had been listed for $27.5 million! These A-listers must have some serious negotiating skills.

By now you must have heard that Starbucks is closing 600 of its stateside coffee shops. Last week Starbucks released the official list of the closing stores with a grand total of 616 closures. The closing stores are company-operated stand alone locations; no bookstore, super market, or airport Starbucks will be shuttered.

While rumors have been swirling for several years that Candy Spelling was quietly shopping around her Holmby Hills mansion, the home is now officially for sale. And at $150 million, it's the most expensive home on the market in the United States.
The house, which is built on the former site of Bing Crosby's Hollywood home, is a 56,000-square-foot mansion built in a French chateau style and sits on over 4.6 acres.
