No matter how much some feminists try to reclaim the word "slut," it sounds too harsh to my ears. Don't get me wrong — I am totally behind the idea of taking the wind out of its sails, though. It's a cliché complaint, but it's true: there's no equivalent word for a man who sleeps around.
