Remember Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, "I want it now, Daddy!" Sure, getting what you want is great in theory, but you probably end up with more enemies than friends with that kind of mentality. That's what compromise is for; however, some people compromise their own needs so often that they end up being considered more of a pushover than just easy going.

Although my marriage with iTunes is still going strong, that doesn't mean a girl can't look at what else is out there, right? So when I want some cheap eye candy (in the form of movies or TV), I'll check out Amazon's On-Demand service.
A lot like iTunes, Amazon's On Demand brings you TV and movies when you want them, and you can even buy TV season passes and download the shows as they are released for $1.89 an episode.

As a paparazzi–like mama, I have taken thousands of pictures of my lil one resulting in a handful of magical portraits that deserve more than a 4x6 frame in the window sill. With wall space to fill, I was delighted to turn my shutterbug moments into something more.

Hired help must have been in high demand last night as celebrity moms and dads hit the town for a big night out at the American Music Awards. Hollywood's babysitters had their hands full with Jennifer Lopez performing, Kate Hudson presenting, and Nicole Kidman accompanying her hubby. A night full of flames, near wardrobe mishaps (look out mama Kate!), and shocking moments, it was one to remember.
