Today saw a ground breaking court ruling which is sure to change the future of both online auction sites and counterfeit goods. Louis Vuitton (who seem to love court drama) took ebay to court over the sale of counterfeit goods on its site, and for selling genuine products outside their desired retail channel.
Paris’s Tribunal de Commerce cited “grave errors” on eBay’s part following a two-year court battle.

I'll admit, in my youth I abused TV courtroom dramas. Hey, I was young, it was summertime, and the talkshow/reality TV circuit was in its nascent stages. That's why to this day I can recite the whole opening to The People's Court.

Lily Allen has won "substantial" damages over an article that was printed in The Sun headed "Ranting Lily", that alleged she made offensive remarks about Cheryl Cole and David and Victoria Beckham.
Lily wasn't present at London's High Court for the settlement, but her solicitor said that the article suggested she had made offensive remarks about her fellow celebs in an interview which she supposedly gave to So Foot — a French football magazine — but he said the newspaper has accepted that Lily was never interviewed for the magazine and did not say any of the things that were attributed to her.
The newspaper's solicitor, Mike Patrick, offered apologies on behalf of the paper for the upset and embarrassment caused.

The mall is almost unavoidable during the holidays, and something about all that running around and waiting in lines makes me hungry. What's worse: Not only am I hungry, but I also know there is a place where food is easily accessible. That place, like the fast food holy land, is the Food Court.
