- Paul "Pee-Wee" Reubens will guest-star on ABC's "Pushing Daisies," TV Guide reports. Meanwhile, Aidan Quinn is headed to "Canterbury's Law" to play Julianna Margulies' husband.
- According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eva Mendes will be playing a femme fatale with "dangerous curves" in the Frank Miller movie Will Eisner's The Spirit.
- Ventriloquist Terry Fator has won "America's Got Talent," the Associated Press reports.
- Variety reports that Tim Allen will write and star in a Disney comedy titled Brothers about a racially mixed pair of adopted brothers who are framed for a crime.
- Billboard reports that the soundtrack to High School Musical 2 is No. 1 on The Billboard 200.
- Margaret Nagle, creator of Lifetime's original series "Side Order of Life," has sold her movie script New York State of Mind, a fantastical love story filmed entirely in New York, reports ComingSoon.
- "Nip/Tuck" creator Ryan Murphy is creating a pilot for FX about the life of a man who decides to get a sex change, Zap2it reports.

Kristin Cavallari showed off her love for Team Jacob with her water bottle as she stopped off at the Trina Turk boutique to shop with a friend in LA yesterday — get her look here. She's at odds with Team Edward member Ashley Tisdale as Hollywood divides along those very important party lines. New Moon is out now, so perhaps she'll be among the many fans who make it a big opening weekend for the movie.

Looks like The Office is trying for a little economic relevance. While it sort of knocks you over the head this week — e.g. showing the Dow Jones sign — you can't blame the writers for making the story timely.

It looks like running the NYC marathon in under three hours just isn't enough for Lance Armstrong, who will turn 37 next week. Yesterday, the seven-time winner of the Tour de France announced that he has decided to return to professional bike racing to "raise awareness of the global cancer burden" with the ultimate goal of winning an eighth Tour next Summer. His return to cycling could be the boost the sport needs.

The beloved '80s toy turned movie turned TV show, My Little Pony, is getting resurrected with a series set to air on the new Discovery-Hasbro kids channel.
Makes sense since My Little Pony is a Hasbro creation, but I have mixed feelings over this news. I was nutty for the toys growing up — I even had a tiny plastic pony tent that I used to pitch in my living room.
