Well, this is just great. Behind the gated and planned communities of Southern California housewives aren't just employing children as drug dealers, they're smuggling children into the US to work.
As affluent immigrants move here from Africa, where the rich think nothing of employing children for little to no money, many bring children with them to employ for meager wages ($30-per-month meager).

Do You Care Where Your Clothes Are Made?
Yes — I always think twice before purchasing items made in third world countries.
Sometimes; but clothing from other countries are usually cheaper.

After efforts in recent years to rebrand itself as a more ethical and socially responsible company, Gap is once again being criticized for practicing child labor. Despite launching rigorous social audit systems in 2004 to weed out such practices, the system is still being abused by its subcontractors.
After an article in yesterday's The Observer said children in India as young as 10 were beaten and made to hand-sew clothes, often for no wages, the company has made moves to bar thousands of clothes en route to stores.

Lots of women think labor is easy compared to choosing their child's name. While selecting a moniker for the first mini me can be easy for parents, many have a hard time coming up with a comparable one for their second or third offspring. My husband and I had to consider both our son and daughter's names when we decided on the options for our baby-to-be.

Mommy Dearest,
I am due with my first child on Sept. 13 and am completely accepting of the fact that I likely overshoot this due date. My boyfriend has been supportive the entire pregnancy and very vocal about how he wishes to be in the delivery room, which I am happy to hear!

This weekend, I'll be spending Labor Day at a friend's barbecue bash. She's already got the barbecue and its essential accoutrements entirely covered, so I've been racking my brain to come up with an appropriate contribution. I had no idea what that was going to be — until I had a lightbulb moment for the perfect pièce de résistance.Since I won't be spending the holiday with family, I figure I'll bring a bit of my family to the festivities.

The last few weeks of pregnancy are wrought with anticipation. For some expectant women still on the job, the pressure of getting their work done while preparing for their upcoming arrival brings on too much stress. Add a commute and physical discomfort and some mamas-to-be beg their doctors to order them home.
