Remember my poll on annoying corporate catchphrases? Well, here's a more concise list you can copy and carry around in your pocket. During a meeting, mark off a box every time someone says an annoying corporate catchphrase or buzzword, and silently to yourself (unless you want to go to HR), say "Bingo!"
I want to print this thing out and just walk around my neighborhood. I wonder when the hoodie, Chuck Taylors, and trucker-cap are going to seem as outdated as polyester bell-bottoms? Not soon enough.
I like this version of bingo that highlights awful corporate speak. I mean, can we be on the same page about how empowered we'd be if we ditched terms like value-added? Bottom line: if we we just thought outside the box, we wouldn't need these corny clichés.
