A recent study shows that deer mice are monogamous and have "superior stress tolerance and blood sugar regulation." That would make us think that for humans, a monogamous relationship would prove to offer health benefits, but what else can we learn from the animal kingdom? Here are the first five of 10 sex lessons from a recent MSNBC article and my interpretation of each one.

It's hard to be a sad panda about brushing your teeth when you have an Animal Kingdom Toothbrush Holder ($8) to play with. The hippo, panda and giraffe toothbrush holders (and decorators) have clam shell stomachs so little hands can just push their brush into its protective belly.

I was looking through the list of the UK's most complained about ads, when I came across a doozie. In an Orangina ad that upset those sensitive to sexism, creatures with female features dance provocatively in the forest.
A flamingo gets down on the stripper poll, and a deer gets dowsed in Orangina.

Naomi looks positively ethereal on the pages of the March Harper's Bazaar UK, but considering how glow-y she's looked since confirming her pregnancy, it's no surprise. Naomi recently signed on to make (this one is a mouthful -- I'll put the title in quotes so you know when it's over) "Kicked, Bitten and Scratched: Life and Lessons at the World's Premiere School for Exotic Animal Trainers" which is a romantic comedy about a woman who works with various rare creatures. Hey wait, I thought she already made King Kong!?!

Q. Our house looks like Santa's workshop with stuffed animals, race cars and art supplies scattered throughout. We try to get our children to keep their items in their own rooms, but it seems like a losing battle.

It's been 19 years since we last saw Indiana Jones — who just so happens to be one of my favorite heroes in film — so I was stoked to see the latest installment to hit the big screen. However, I'm even more excited to take home my own copy of the film tonight to add to my collection. Not only to relive the adventure, but to see the extras that come with the DVD!

Animal lover Katherine Heigl and her mom stopped by the Villalobos Rescue Center in LA on Sunday. She admirably brought photographers along to document the creatures' situations, but Katherine is mostly getting praised for her work these days. Both her film 27 Dresses and her recently controversial show Grey's Anatomy were just nominated for People's Choice Awards — Buzz has the whole list of this year's honorees.
