A word to the wise: naked photos can always resurface — even decades later. As archivists sort through 610 boxes full of memorabilia and junk collected by the late Andy Warhol, they recently stumbled upon an autographed nude photo of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Jackie O was a frequent muse to the packrat artist and apparently gifted him a naked poster signed, "For Andy, with enduring affection, Jackie Montauk."

I may never own an original Andy Warhol, but I can still integrate some pop-art style into my home with a range of accessories and furniture. Themes drawn from pop culture, bright colors, hard-edged compositions, and representational motifs abound in the decor world, making it a cinch to channel the '60s in my digs. To see some pop art-inspired decor, read more

Many years ago, Diane von Furstenberg and Andy Warhol hooked up at Studio 54. Not that type of hookup, silly! DVF posed for one of Warhol's iconic portraits (see below).

Diane von Furstenberg used to party with Andy Warhol at Studio 54 so I'm sure her latest plans will bring the memories flooding back. It was announced today that DVF would be collaborating The Andy Warhol Foundation on her resort 2008 and pre-spring 2009 collections.
The line of swimwear and cover-ups will feature Warhol's iconic prints.

In the June/July double issue of Interview magazine, a modern-day marvel imitates a pop culture legend.
Marc Jacobs appears on the cover of the magazine, which is an ode to the pop artist whose 80th birthday would have been in August. With a platinum wig atop his head, the fashion designer is being compared to the eccentric artist; they both cross bred art and commerce, they have a knack for creating playground-like retail stores and look to other artists for inspiration and collaboration.

Seems Marc Jacobs dreams come true on Thursday with the release of the latest Interview magazine featuring Marc as Warhol on the cover. Marc appears with a white mop of hair, crisp button-down shirt and tie. Similarities have been drawn between the designer and the artist due to the business nature with which they approached their work.

You recently learned that two former homes of Andy Warhol are on the market, and I gave you details on (and showed you images of) one of the properties. While the other property may not cost you forty million, it's certainly a landmark, and has plenty of original architectural features. The property, listed at over $5.9 million, is an 8-room, 4-story Carnegie Hill townhouse, which he purchased in 1959, became known as the first of his "factories" in Manhattan.

According to Page Six, two of Andy Warhol's former Manhattan residences are on the market, under Corcoran listings. One of the properties is a 12-room, six-story Upper East Side house owned by former Viacom head Tom Freston, and has an asking price of $38.5 million. The pop icon "paid only $310,000 for the now-renovated 1910 townhouse," and "lived there from 1974 until his death in 1987."
