Only in the 70's would we have been baked enough to orchestrate this kind of madness and then expose our children to it on a regular basis. The following is one of the musical interludes between segments of the children's program, "Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp." I know zilch about the show, but I do know that I dig these groovy monkeys man.

Tomorrow Today was a UK television program of the '70s that claimed to predict trends and lifestyle habits of the future. And where did the experts foresee fashion going? They had a space-age getup in mind, complete with metallic miniskirts and "specially adapted cosmetics belts" to free us ladies of our bulky purses.

Mix some eccentricity, a self-deprecating sense of humor, intelligence, wit, along with a slightly reclusive personality and some nervous energy, and you've got Diane Keaton through and through. The 63-year-old actress, who first gained acclaim in the 1970s with roles in The Godfather, along with a string of Woody Allen flicks, was actually born Diane Hall. Since there was already a registered actress with the same name, she chose her mother's maiden name, Keaton, as her professional moniker.
