I made this cake for a wedding shower, and it was made to match the actual invitation to the event. Here is the invitation, I think I got it pretty close?
The cakes were "yellow" cake with vanilla buttercream filling and icing.

I'm attending a wedding shower with a 'round-the-clock' theme, meaning that each guest is assigned a time of day that their gift should match up to. My time is 2pm. Does anyone have any ideas as to what kind of gift in the $50 range might suit 2pm?

Chocolate cake with green buttercream filling and icing. Pink and brown fondant stripes and polka dots accents, and a pink bow on top complete the overall look.

I'm looking for advice on how to plan my sister's bridal shower. My sister Colleen and her fiance Gordon live in Ireland, however their St. Patrick's Day wedding will take place in New York (where all my family is).

Sarah Palin didn't put an index in her book. So we made one for her.

So, I've been with this guy for 11 months now....he told me when we went to a friends angagement party (when we'd only been together for about three months) that he had thought about asking me to move in, but thought that three months was too soon, then he said maybe in another three months. So, now it's been seven more months and he hasn't bought it up again at all...not once.
It's not that I feel like I have to move in with him right now, we spend heaps of time together anyway.

If you're anything like me, you're going to at least one bridal shower every two months (if you're not, I'm envious!). Don't get me wrong, I love celebrating with friends at their happiest times, but trying to find a unique gift always stresses me out. Chances are your friend has a wedding registry, so you can always go that route.
