The only good news out of the Fort Hood massacre is that U.S. electronic surveillance technology was able to pick up Major Hasan's phone calls to an al Qaeda-loving imam in Yemen. The bad news is the people and agencies listening to Hasan didn't know what to do about it.

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 7 years and everytime that he has a family gathering, he tends to either push me away or break-up with me. He is 38 years old and I am 32.
The first year we met, his father passed away and his sisters wanted to kick him out of the family home.

Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Courage and Cowardice
A self-described "devout Muslim" who praised suicide bombers opens fire on brave American soldiers — and most people in the mainstream media insist there is no sign of terror.
November 6, 2009 - by Bruce Bawer
The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe — murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it.

This week's cover: Why America is falling for 'Glee'
by EW staff
Categories: Glee, This Week's Cover
This season’s most unexpected success story, Glee is snarky, theatrical, totally addictive — and a cult phenomenon on its way to becoming a national obsession. The comedy is currently averaging a steady 8 million viewers a week, and the people watching are enviably young: Five million of its viewers are in the desirable 18–49 demo. (It’s little wonder that in September, Fox made Glee the first new fall series to be given a full 22-episode pickup.) Meanwhile, fans are staying engaged even after the episodes are over by downloading the cast’s newest cover tunes.

Yes, "The One" Should Fail
By Quin Hillyer on 10.23.09 @ 6:08AM
We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose. Barack Obama's thugocracy is dishonest, dangerous, and malicious, but it cannot be stronger than the aroused might of a free people. His foreign policy deliberately debases U.S.

Obama must start punching harder
By Gideon Rachman
Just five years ago, Barack Obama was still a local politician in Illinois, preparing for a run for the US Senate. His office wall in Chicago at the time was decorated with the famous picture of Muhammad Ali standing over Sonny Liston, after knocking him out in a heavyweight title fight. Ali famously boasted that he could “float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.” But now that Mr Obama is president, he seems to float like a butterfly – and sting like one as well.
