Superfine Judy Blame tank top
Citizens of Humanity Cropped Kelly jeans
Berry-licious shoes
Dogeared Gold Lucky Horseshoe Necklace
Hey Girls!,
So, it seems it's all about berry-colored shoes for fall...And, In fact, I'm going so far as to challenge all you awesome Sugar fashionistas (of every age and style) to buy one pair of great berry-licious-colored shoes instead of those four pairs of black shoes you think you need, and then go to town with your wardrobe, seeing all the countless looks you can get with not black, not even brown, but, BERRY shoes :-) This is a last in a series of looks with berry shoes, I hope you like and I hope inspire you creatively to use for all sorts of functions (within reason....I don't think even Jennifer Lopez would wear pumps on any leg of her triathalon ;-)
AND FOR THIS PARTICULAR GROUP, LOOK DESIGNED FOR THE FOLLOWING, BECAUSE THEY WOULD EACH LOOK SO DIVINE IN THE FOLLOWING, COULD USE THAT HORSESHOE NECKLACE FOR LUCK !!!, and they recently broke up/got dumped (uncertain) by undeserving men: (1) Jennifer Aniston (2) Rebecca Gayheart (3) Winona Ryder, (4) Anne Hathaway, (5) That Yankees Madonna guy's wife, (6) Shania Twain, (7) One of the Dixie Chicks (I forget which whom), (8) Christie Brinkley
What do you think? I dare you to go out and buy a pair of purpley, grape-y, strawbery, in the neighborhood of berry-colored shoes and creating your own lists or looks at home to model with your friends!!
Enjoy!

My day ended on a low note, so I decided I needed a proper pick-me-up.
I just ordered:
MAC Shadow Pigment in Antique Green
and
MAC Lipstick in Crème d’Nude
I adore this color, it looks so 1950s!

Sometimes, you just need a little digital pick-me-up, and today I'm here to bring you exactly that. Today's installment of Website of the Day is not only endlessly entertaining but may even give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It Made My Day is a site where people can submit great moments they come across during their otherwise boring days.

I'm a 39 y.o. woman who has been "seeing" a 47 y.o. man. He's a musician in my community and I developed an instant attraction that seems to go far beyond the initial sexy appeal of his guitar playing skills. Simply put, I'm smitten. I pursued him pretty heavy in the beginning and have definitely been the person putting the effort in making contact and arranging our activities. I hate the way this sounds but I am well above average in physical appearance so I'm used to getting the person I pursue. Anyway, we've been spending time together for a couple of months and it's been magical! He's romantic, extremely affectionate, sensitive and sweet as hell. He's introduced me to a couple of friends and he seems proud when he does so. I walk on a cloud when I'm with him and for the next day or two after. Trouble is, he doesn't call me....even after several days have gone by. In his defense, he works a full-time job in addition to the gigs he plays a couple evenings a week. He also bought a house (his first ever) about 3 weeks ago and he is heavily involved in remodeling it. Last weekend I asked him to come out to listen to a visiting band at a local pub. He agreed but at the last minute changed his mind, but failed to tell me this. I confronted him about his rudeness and told him I didn't think he was that in to me and that he should just acknowlege that fact so that I could move on. He asked me if I wanted to talk and offered to pick me up for breakfast. He refused to agree with my assumption and acknowleged his rudeness with an apology. This confrontation was three days ago and I haven't heard from him since. I have a lump in my throat and I feel nauseous. I need some direction here as the agony is just too much!

In the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal at all and I know people have much bigger problems, so I hate to whine, but I'm going to for a second anyway.
My parents are in the process of selling their house right now. They've been kicking around the idea for a while, but they listed it and sold it quickly (I think they underpriced it) and they have their meeting to finalize everything on Thursday. They haven't found a new place to buy yet, so they decided to rent a house for a bit because they don't want to rush into buying something they don't want.
I know this is silly, but I am really sad about the fact that they will no longer own the house I grew up in. We have so many memories there and I love that house. We moved there when I was in second grade, so I spent more time there (by far) than in any other place we lived. They have a large wooded lot and the house is on a beautiful country road. Last Christmas, when my mom picked me up from the airport and drove down the street, the snow on the trees looked beautiful and I felt like I was home. (I love D.C., but for some reason, Ohio still feels like home to me.)
They are moving to a smaller house on a tiny lot on a typical suburban street. It just won't be the same.

I met this guy when I was in high school and the feelings have yet to go away. I am 24 and was 15 when we met. We had dated briefly in high school and later when I had graduated high school and he was a junior in college we again spent our summer casually dating each other.

Egads! The image of that basement. I was beyond impressed when the staff pulled it together and whipped the storage area into shape.

Ok, my fellow BPJs - I have been feeling a bit down lately and decided to do a little lunch-time shopping to cheer myself up and thought I would share my haul with you all, since I got some really great kits and some awesome freebies!
First, I headed to Macy's to take advantage of their Clinique gift with purchase offer (which I posted in BPJ here: http://teamsugar.com/group/88093/blog/2348238 ) I bought the 7 day scrub cream, #2 Clarifying lotion and Extra Mild Liquid Facial Soap. So with those purchases (and free gift!) in the bag, I wandered over to Nordstrom's.
