When I was in college, I read a book that changed my life. It was Susan Brownmiller's tome, Against Our Will: Men, Women, and Rape, which explained rape as an act of power instead of just lust. What I found particularly chilling was the chapter on war -- how rape is used to terrorize a population and destroy the enemy's spirit.

We have all heard of book phenomenon 'The Rules' where we are told that women should never return a mans calls, never look a man straight in the eye on first meeting and never, ever to accept a date from a man for a Saturday if he asks later than a Wednesday.
But does the game of love really work? Are the rules fact or do they actually drive men away?

Chances are that if you’ve been in a relationship, and you’re a woman, you’ve probably faked an orgasm. But did you know that men fake them too?
The research that brings us this important sexual discovery was conducted at the University of Kansas on 180 male and 101 female college students.

I know this site is more about relationships and not sex, but i'm a huge fan of Susan Crain Bakos (Sex Bible for Women, The Orgasm Bible and other amazing books). And all that sex education made me find sex goddes inside of me, i practice sex with a partner or alone quite often and strive to reach the big O everytime. I don't get there with my boyfriend everytime and he just stops trying after awhile and just tells me 'it can't happen for a woman everytime'.

Judge rules against women-only holidays

A judge ruled that women-only holidays cannot be advertised because it could breach the human rights of men / File
- Plans to start a women-only holiday service
- Wanted exemption to Equal Opportunity Act
- Judge refuses, say it is not necessary
A SINGLE-sex travel company for women who want to avoid boozy, bed-hopping mixed tour groups has been grounded.
A judge ruled yesterday that former tour guide Erin Maitland cannot advertise women-only holidays because it could breach the human rights of men.
Judge Marilyn Harbison refused to grant Ms Maitland an exemption to the Equal Opportunity Act, ruling that she had not proved it was reasonable or necessary, the Herald Sun reports.
"The exemption may well be convenient and practical in the establishment of her business, but it cannot be justified on human rights principles," said the vice-president of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
In her evidence to VCAT Ms Maitland said she wanted to set up Travel Sisters after hearing stories from her friends who would not travel in mixed tour groups because of "drinking and bed-hopping".

Robert Pattinson might be one of the sexiest men on the face of the planet, but he doesn’t really understand what people see in him. In fact, the very idea of looking at his appearance in a positive way makes him want to cringe.

Sex is good for you: For fighting cancer to the common cold - it's just what the doctor ordered (and men benefit most!)
• By A. Magee
Making love could be one of the few pleasures in life that is genuinely good for you, say researchers.
Not only does a healthy sex life boost mood, but there is growing evidence to show it boosts your physical well-being, too - from increasing longevity to reducing the risk of erectile dysfunction and even heart attack.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn't change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care.
Under the bill, headed for a D.C. Council vote next month, religious organizations would not be required to perform or make space available for same-sex weddings.
