I’m not good with reviews so I won’t even attempt to make one. A friend of mine who attended the screening has agreed to write a review and share it with us. As soon as she’s done writing one I will re-post it here for everyone to read.

Dear All,
I've been with my boyfriend for about a half a year now. Generally, things have been going very well and I have been happy with how he treats me.
Over the last month, he has called me three times by the name of his ex (thank god not in bed!), with whom he broke up about a year ago.

I'm breaking my rule on youTube (because I can :raspberry: ) because the post discusses the video and there's no point in saying Franken calmed the crowd and not letting you judge the video yourselves.
Blogger Dusty Trice posted yesterday about Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) talking healthcare reform opponents away from the deep end ledge at the Minnesota State Fair:
Here's what Trice wrote about the experience:
"About a dozen tea party activists had staked out Sen.

With the Democrats getting slaughtered -- or should I say, "receiving mandatory end-of-life counseling" -- in the debate over national health care, the Obama administration has decided to change the subject by indicting CIA interrogators for talking tough to three of the world's leading Muslim terrorists.
Had I been asked, I would have advised them against reinforcing the idea that Democrats are hysterical bed-wetters who can't be trusted with national defense while also reminding people of the one thing everyone still admires about President George W. Bush.

I ran across this article, and thought it might prompt some interesting discussions.
I've said for a few years now that the women's movement of the 1970's ultimately did us no favors; it just overburdened us with impossible workloads and insane expectations, and made us feel we should be grateful for them.
This is a bit long, but is a quick read.

A certain miller had little by little fallen into poverty, and
had nothing left but his mill and a large apple-tree behind
it. Once when he had gone into the forest to fetch wood, an
old man stepped up to him whom he had never seen before, and
said, why do you plague yourself with cutting wood, I will
make you rich, if you will promise me what is standing behind
your mill. What can that be but my apple-tree, thought the
miller, and said, yes, and gave a written promise to the
stranger.

Okay so my dad works for an airline meaning we get extremely cheap tickets all around the world for extremely cheap prices. We're on this ticket though that means we only get seats if the plane doesn't fill up which is quite common. We go to a bunch of places, and to be honest it's not all that exciting for me.
